Mr. I.K Mensah is a Civil / Highway Engineer with over Thirty six years of experience in engineering studies, design, construction supervision and contract management of major road infrastructure projects. He was responsible for setting up the Maintenance Section of the Department of Urban Roads and held various positions in the Department. He was the Deputy Director of Urban Roads for fifteen (15) years before assuming the Headship in 2008.

 

During that period Mr. I.K. Mensah supervised several consultancy assignments. His rich experience covers road condition inventories and surveys, geometrical design, pavement design and construction supervision of roads and bridges. Mr. I.K. Mensah possesses good communication skills, liaison and negotiating skills with both Contractors and Clients.

 

Mr. I.K. Mensah holds a masters of science (MSc) from University of Birmingham 1990 and a post-graduate diploma (PGDP) from school of Governance and Public Policy 2012 Duke University.
